Corinne is inspired by costumes and traditional clothing from all over the world and throughout our history as human beings. She draws from the garb of tribal cultures as much as she does from current fashion trends and mixes club kid style and a psychedelic maximalist aesthetic to achieve her signature looks. Always pushing the boundaries and going so far over the top that you don't even know what you are looking at, Corinne is a visionary when it comes to aesthetics and turning people in characters, gods + goddesses, contemporary deities and alien beings.

In her art career she is focused on inventing new worlds with surreal installations that incorporate costume design and ritual / interactive performances. Her goal is to create unique experiences for the viewer that inspires a new model for relating to each other and to what we consider "art". She has been involved in several large scale installations throughout the country, and gave a talk as a visiting artist at the Columbus Museum of Art in 2013.

Corinne Loperfido holds a BFA in Graphic Design from the College of Saint Rose in Albany NY, where she graduated at the top of her class. Her aesthetic ranges from bold color fields + comic style drawings to elaborate textural patterns + layered vintage detail work. Each project's palette has its own language of color and personality and she can work in any style - if you can dream it she can do it! As an artist, she takes a more unique visual approach to graphic design and provides print design + branding services as well as web sites, with her partner providing SEO website coding and development.

Corinne has been throwing dance + performance art events all over the country since 2010. In collaboration with Rusty Lazer, she helped bring the New Orleans bounce music scene to Austin, Texas, and together the two threw many conceptual events in New Orleans including Night of 1000 Contests, 7 Minutes in Heaven, Go Homo, and Big Dick's House of Big Boobs. She is a talented creative director in any capacity (events, videos, photos, brand campaigns, etc) and can work every aspect of a job from concept to organization and all the important details in the execution.

Between 2010 - 2012 she toured the world as a backup dancer (aka Lady Business) for New Orleans Sissy rappers like Big Freedia, Katey Red, and Nicky Da B, and taught bounce dance lessons wherever she went. She is still available to teach private or group lessons but does not hold a regular teaching schedule anymore.
